Join our Team
We work exclusively with architects and designers, helping them bring the passion and creativity they have for their work into their marketing.
With strategic marketing insight, branding expertise and content creation skills, our team collaborates with clients to find sustainable, impactful and original ways to market what they do. We bring it all together with practical plans and ongoing support — because good marketing isn’t just about coming up with ideas. It’s about making those ideas happen.
We have two roles that we’re hiring for in Q1, 2026:
-
The purpose of the role
This role leads the delivery of content marketing across 3–5+ ongoing clients, owning the process from content direction through to final delivery.
You’ll take responsibility for client communication, approvals, timelines and quality, ensuring content consistently reflects each client’s brand, positioning and audience.
The role combines strong writing and content judgement with the ability to confidently shift tone of voice between clients — responding to different audiences, contexts and business needs.
What you’ll be responsible for
Content leadership + delivery
Lead content marketing delivery across a mix of established practices and smaller studios
Write, edit and refine short-form content for Instagram and LinkedIn, with a strong grasp of clarity, pacing and audience relevance
Create longer-form content where required, including articles, campaign-style narratives and email newsletters
Translate client conversations, project information and broader insights into clear, brand-aligned content
Create on-brand assets using Canva, working confidently across different visual styles
Edit short-form video content for social platforms (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn), including reels and simple narrative-led videos
Shape video content so it feels considered, well-paced and aligned with each client’s positioning
Tone of voice + copywriting
Adapt tone of voice confidently across different clients and audiences
Balance concise, effective short-form copy with more developed written pieces
Ensure content feels human, relevant and purposeful — never generic or templated
Client ownership
Manage client communication, approvals and timelines with clarity and professionalism
Bring structure to the content process so clients feel supported and confident
Guide clients through content decisions while keeping delivery moving
Bring ideas and suggestions to the table that help clients see new possibilities for their marketing
Collaboration + coordination
Liaise with photographers and videographers to support ongoing content needs
Work with image and video assets supplied by clients or collaborators, adapting content for platform-specific use
Brief and coordinate contributors where required, ensuring outputs align with content direction
Quality + systems
Maintain quality control across all content (tone, clarity, formatting, proofing and presentation)
Review and QA content produced by other team members where required
Contribute to improving internal workflows and systems as the agency grows
As needed
Minor website content updates where required (not a core focus of the role)

Our ideal candidate
You’re creative, but practical. You enjoy shaping ideas and writing content, while also bringing structure and follow-through to the work.
You’re comfortable moving between words, visuals and video, take ownership of what you’re responsible for, and care about delivering work that reflects care, clarity and good judgement. You enjoy working collaboratively, asking good questions, and improving how things are done over time.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Love content marketing and understand its commercial role
Are comfortable balancing creative thinking with delivery
Communicate clearly and calmly
Enjoy contributing to a growing business

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to play a key role in the next phase of Markedly’s growth. As we continue to build a more integrated offering, this role supports how strategy, content and brand come together in clear, well-considered design outcomes for our clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who wants to take ownership. You’ll work closely with the Director to help build and refine Markedly’s in-house graphic design capability, contributing to the development of services, processes and ways of working that support both creative quality and commercial sustainability.
You’ll lead design projects end-to-end, with a clear pathway to step into a Graphic Design Lead role as the design arm grows.
Key responsibilities
Design + delivery
Lead the design and rollout of brand identities and visual systems for architecture and design-led clients
Develop branded social media foundations, including templates and graphic systems that support consistency over time
Design branded documents such as proposals, reports, capability statements and presentations
Lead website design projects across a range of scopes — from full website design from scratch through to the strategic evolution and refinement of existing sites, depending on client needs
Assess existing websites and recommend the most appropriate design response, whether that’s a full rebuild, structural refinement, content reorganisation or visual uplift
Design campaign assets primarily for digital channels
Website design + delivery
Provide design direction for website projects, ensuring alignment with strategy, content and brand
Support Squarespace or Wix builds where appropriate and within skillset
Work with external developers where required, maintaining design oversight and quality control
Client-facing leadership
Lead client design presentations independently (or co-present initially where appropriate)
Manage design projects from briefing through to delivery and refinement
Navigate client feedback with confidence, ensuring outcomes align with agreed strategy and scope
Design capability + business development
Work closely with the Director to develop and refine Markedly’s graphic design offering, including service packages, scopes and delivery processes
Contribute to shaping how graphic design integrates with Markedly’s broader strategy, content and digital services
Help establish clear, repeatable design workflows that support quality, efficiency and profitability
Play an active role in laying the foundations for the future growth of the graphic design arm, including systems that can scale as the team expands
Commercial awareness
Work confidently within defined scopes, timelines and budgets
Balance creative ambition with efficiency and commercial outcomes
Recommend design solutions that are proportionate to the brief, recognising when evolution and refinement may deliver greater value than a full rebuild
Understand that strong design must be both well-considered and commercially viable
Collaboration + process
Collaborate closely with the Director and Content Marketing Managers to ensure alignment between strategy, content and visual execution
Maintain clear file management and documentation using Dropbox and internal systems
Uphold the tone, pace, standards and communication norms outlined in the Markedly Agency Playbook
What we’re looking for
Experience
Senior-level graphic designer with experience across branding, digital and visual systems
Background in architecture, interiors or design-led brands (or agencies working in these sectors)
Agency experience strongly preferred
Confident leading client conversations and presenting design work
Skills
Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience designing for websites and digital platforms
Figma experience required
Canva experience required
Squarespace or Wix build experience is a bonus, not essential
Video editing experience is a bonus, not essential
How you work
Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership
Calm, thoughtful and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture
Curious, collaborative and invested in building something long-term
This role will not suit someone who…
Is looking primarily for flexibility without accountability
Prefers task-by-task execution over owning outcomes
Needs close day-to-day direction to maintain momentum
Is uncomfortable working directly with clients or managing feedback
Is not interested in contributing to the growth and direction of a design offering beyond day-to-day client work
Why join Markedly?
Be part of a growing, design-led agency with a clear point of view
Shape and help grow Markedly’s in-house graphic design capability
Work closely with thoughtful, values-driven clients
Enjoy autonomy, trust and a clear pathway to future leadership
